Testing devices

If desired, we provide mobile effluent- and discharged air testing equipments that allow the simulation of water treatment and air purifying performance, respectively, of Large-Scale plants:

Ozone-flotation testing equipment

Effluent testing can be applied to:

• sterilisation of liquids
• preliminary purification of wastewater before being discharged into the municipal sewage treatment plant

Premises to successfully execute this test are:

• 1m³ of tipical process water and at least 1m³ of representative sewage, sampled proportionally for 24 hours
• The effluent sample is retained directly before performing the tests

Testing sequence:

Effluent testing is based upon the Batch procedure. The fluid is preliminary pumped into the testing plant and, just before starting the effluent treatment, a sample of the liquid is retained. During the six hour lasting effluent treatment an additional sample is taken once an hour. The collected samples are the basis for the dimensioning, upon which an offer for a Large-Scale plant is developed.

The analysis of the samples can be performed by oxytec, the customer or an accredited analyse institute.

Effluent testing procedures are basically executed by two oxytec employees.

Exhaust air testing devices

For exhaust air and sterilisation testing purposes a Small-Scale plant can be ordered too, in order to demostrate the effectiveness of our UV-C-/Ozone technology. Obtained results can be projected to the overall exhaust air volumen and total space and surfaces destined to purification, respectively

Discharged air and sterilisation tests can be applied on nearly all kind of exhaust air streams charged with organic substances and/or microorganisms.
