Sterilisation of air and surfaces

Traditional ventilation systems used in production areas easily cause microbiological pollution of the air, leading to cost-intensive faulty lots or even to product recalls. In order to avoid those risks more and more companies have decided to strilise their process air and surfaces by using UV-C radiation.

  Depending on the dimensioned UV-C radiation up to 99,9% of all microorganisms can be eliminated. Together with the PLC special UV-C sensors, developed by oxytec, monitor the effectivity of the UV-C light.

In addition to sterilisation of compartment air, UV-C sterilisation leads to a significant improvement of the hygiene standard when applied to individual processing steps (e.g. conveyors of cutters) and/or packing processes (conveyors, packing foil etc.).
