We were also looking for a solution that doesn't involve constant maintenance costs related to the adjustment of the chemical additives. With ozone flotation we have now a nearly maintenance- and chemical agent-free preliminary clearance, just based on ozone treatment, in charge of the preliminary purification of our effluents.“

„Due the inner-city location of our company we had to find an efficient solution in terms of elimination of odours for our recently build rape oil mill, produced by the exhaust vapours of our hot squeezing technique.

Thanks to oxytec's UV-C-/Ozone plant we managed to achieve a degree of odour reduction which would have been impossible by using a biofilter. Another advantage is, besides it's compact design, the easy construction form, allowing us to place of a roof. In addition, the low operational costs of the plant convinced us. Olfactory measurements done by the german TÜV-Nord impressively attested the effectiveness of the plant even convincing the public authorities that closely work with us.“

Sewage Treatment Plant Verden

„We kept several years intensively researching the elimination of unpleasant odours origined by H2S emanated from our sewage treatment plant. Due the foodstuff producing concerns that discharge their effluents in our plant we have to deal with exhaust air streams containing a H2S concentration up to 100 ppm. Therefore only an high-efficient air cleaning method is applicable for us. oxytec's UV-C-/Ozone plant convinced us due its easy maintenance and low required space. After a six month's employment of the new plant we diminished and scrapped all chemical scrubbers and the related dosing pumps. With the UV-C/Ozone plant we have since September 2005 an economical method that offers a degree of effectiveness that completely convinced us.“

KADI AG

„Due our steam-heated deep fryer we gladly wanted to abstain from using thermal combustion, forcing us to intensively reseach for alternative odour and grease reduction methods. Due to the hot vapour exhaust air and the possibility to deploy a discontinuous production process at that time, biofilter resulted also inappropriate. The laborious care of a biofilter would be way too cumbersome, too. Since we categoricaly reject the employement of chemical agents, the use of a chemical scrubber for odour reduction purposes was also not acceptable. After we decided to install oxytec's UV-C/Ozone plant we can only state that no other procedure accomplishes this degree of odour and grease reduction with, at the same time, a minimum of investment and operating cost.“
